Sixth EDUBOT international partner meeting
The Erasmus+ program-supported Edubot project has officially concluded. The final international partner meeting took place in Miercurea Ciuc, focusing on summarizing the professional results and evaluating the experiences gained during the project.
Consolidated Results:
- 4 countries
- 20 educators
- 11 institutions
- 569 students
- Learning time: 1,659 hours and 24 minutes
- Performance improvement: 20.38%
- 37 topics covered (28 in mathematics, 9 in IT)
- Linear content: 1,132 tasks, 841 superunits (SU)
- Adaptive content: 2,271 superunits with guided tasks and explanations
- Total tasks: 3,403
- 245 video explanations
During the pilot teaching phase, students demonstrated significant progress in mathematics and IT competencies across three key areas:
subject-specific knowledge, skills and abilities, attitudes.
In addition to improvements in math-specific skills (e.g., counting, calculating, estimation, measurement, quantitative reasoning, unit conversion, problem-solving) and IT skills (e.g., word processing, spreadsheet management, algorithmization, internet safety), notable progress was also observed in the following areas: reading comprehension, relational vocabulary, visual communication, knowledge acquisition and learning strategies, problem-solving skills, metacognition (task-solving thinking processes), learning capacity, digital competencies.
The pilot teaching was successfully implemented in all participating countries. Comparing results confirmed that adaptive e-learning methodologies can be effectively utilized for content development across various subjects and educational objectives. In all three countries, the adaptive methodology significantly enhanced performance in mathematics exam preparation. The testing phase in Slovakia also explored the methodology’s application outside exam preparation, yielding promising results and demonstrating its value in supporting differentiated teaching for diverse educational goals.
