The 4th EDUBOT International Partner Meeting took place on 18th january 2024. The professional gathering focused on preparing for the testing of intellectual outputs and the implementation of pilot teaching programs. Testing in school environments is a key aspect of the project, ensuring that users can teach and learn with high-quality professional materials. The educational content and system applications developed during the project will be refined and finalized based on the experiences and feedback of students and educators.
The goals of pilot teaching in participating countries:
The pilot teaching program aims to test the outcomes of development across the participating countries. In Hungary, we began testing the educational materials in the fall of 2023 to gather insights that will contribute to their finalization.
In the other countries, testing within the pilot framework will commence in January 2024. In Hungary, the focus of the testing was preparing students for high school entrance exams. Similarly, in two other countries, mathematics exam preparation will be implemented. These include preparation for the 8th-grade national competence examination in Romania and the 8th-grade general school exam in Poland.
In Slovakia, however, the pilot will focus on practical, hands-on IT skills rather than exam preparation. Local educators emphasized that mastering basic IT content in primary schools is crucial for the future academic success of students.
The outcomes of the pilot teaching programs will be shared in detail on the project’s official website: https://www.edubot.hu/en
