I. Peer Learning Activity within the framework of the EduBot project in Romania

The application of innovative chatbot technology based on a shared vision in the STEM field within the framework of a blended learning methodology

"Peer-learning activity" is a method where participants help and teach each other during learning. It is an interactive process, in which the mutual sharing of knowledge and exchange of experiences between the participants of the event is at the fore. In our case, using a broader interpretation of PLA, it means the development of a specific topic, the sharing of experiences and knowledge among actors in the field of education.

As part of the EDUBOT project, the first workshop of this kind was organized on April 21, 2023, at the Orbán Balázs Secondary School in Odorheiu-Secuiesc, organized by the Regionet Foundation.

At the event, following the project description presented by the president of the foundation, Zoltán Levente Lukács, the methods used and the education support system, as well as the opportunities to get involved in the project, were also presented.

The purpose of the PLA workshop was to gather feedback from the professional community regarding the development objectives of the project. The 11 teaching professionals participating in the event shared their opinions and experiences regarding the use of digital tools in an interactive round table discussion. Areas such as good practices and challenges in blended-learning based education were discussed as topics; applicability of artificial intelligence (AI) digital assistant; Applicability of AI within the framework of the EDUBOT project; supporting disadvantaged students to catch up with digital tools; digital curriculum development opportunities within the project.
